We created a strong visual website to showcase the work of Singer/Songwriter, Louis. His website features promo photos, videos, recordings, upcoming gigs, posters, social media links, and a contact form so people can get in touch. Having all his assets together makes communication with venues, promoters and festival organisers so much easier. Copywriting for the website includes an introduction written for the home page, background information and career highlights.

Louis is a 24-year-old Singer/Songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. Louis music centres on a folk/indie style, with rock, pop and punk influences. Artists such as The Tallest Man on Earth, Frank Turner, Father John Misty, The Smith Street Band, Gretta Ray and Twenty-One Pilots are the main stylistic influences for Louis’ original songs. Louis has just finished recording his debut EP, and his launch single is due for release in October 2020. He plays frequent gigs around Melbourne and has been a regular busker over the years. In 2016 he was selected for the The Push Songs Singer/Songwriter Program, featuring sessions with Charles Jenkins, Gossling and Ben Salter. He was later selected for The Push Mentoring Program and was mentored and recorded by Mick Thomas (ex - Wedding Parties Anything, current - Mick Thomas and The Roving Commissions). In 2018, Louis performed at the sixth live show put on by The Real Songwriters of Melbourne, and he recently took out the second prize at The Battle of the Bands, 2020 St Kilda Festival.

Background
Louis was classically trained in music and music theory from a young age, and played the trumpet for seven years in a range of school jazz and concert bands, but eventually he decided to put down the brass and follow his passion for singing. In 2014, he made the decision to focus solely on becoming a recording artist. Since then, he's performed at venues such as the 2020 St Kilda Festival, The Workers Club, The Dogs Bar, Whole Lotta Love, Club Voltaire, Revolver Upstairs, Elwood Lounge, The Branch, The Vineyard, The Cherry Bar, Somewhere Bar, Baxters Lot, The Woods of Windsor, AM:PM, Wick Studios, The Cellar Bar, The Balaclava Hotel, The Drunken Poet, Dizzy's Jazz Club, The Brighton Town Hall, Frankston Beach Festival, Airey's Inlet Festival, Art Centre Melbourne, Queenscliff Music Festival, The 2016 St Kilda Festival, St Kilda Live'N'Local, Storey Hall at RMIT, the 2018 F1 Australian Grand Prix Grid Festival, the 2017 and 2018 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and SYN 1700 on Channel 31.
